Seneca Falls man hurt in motorcycle crash

The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office reports on Sunday evening at approximately 6:50 pm, Sheriff Deputies responded to a personal injury motorcycle accident on West River Rd in the Town of Fayette.Joseph M. Larson, age 23 of 1465 Gravel Road in Seneca Falls, was operating a Yamaha motorcycle eastbound on West River Road when he failed to negotiate a curve, exited the roadway, then entered a ditch resulting in Larson being ejected from the motorcycle.Larson suffered injuries from the accident and was transported to Geneva General Hospital by Finger Lakes Ambulance, then subsequently transferred to Strong Memorial Hospital, where is is being treated for broken ribs .The motorcycle needed to be towed from the scene.Also assisting at the scene was Border City Fire Dept.Sheriff’s Deputies report the accident is still under investigation.
