Two people were arrested on Friday following a police investigation of a larceny at a local business in Seneca Falls. Town police report that on 05/19/14 they responded to DA Liquor, 20 Bridge Street, in the Town of Seneca Falls for a larceny of various liquor bottles by 2 women who had left the store prior to police arrival.The investigation by Town Police identified the 2 women as Christine L. Goodman (also known as Christine L. Maddox), age 42, and Penny A. Burgess, age 47, both of 10 Teft Avenue in Clifton Springs. When both were interviewed, they admitted to stealing from the liquor store.Both were charged with Petit Larceny and Conspiracy in the 6th Degree.They were released on appearance tickets and are to appear in town court on 07/10/14 at 10:00 a.m. to answer the charges. The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office assisted in the investigation.
