Upstate New York skywatchers are anticipating a rare, never-before-seen meteor shower this Friday and Saturday evening. The May Camelopardalids could even rival the prolific Perseid shower in August, according to NASA.The ideal observing time begins at 1:00 am EDT on Saturday morning and continuing for a few hours.Because this is a new shower, there’s a low level of certainty around just how visible the meteors will be and how frequent they’ll be.For more on the web about the May Camelopardalids, click here.
