Jerome D. Scott, 47, of Penn Yan was arrested and charged with Criminal Trespass 3rd degree by Penn Yan Police Saturday night after a 911 call about Scott being intoxicated and sleeping in a hallway closet at the Knapp Hotel on Main Street in the village. Scott was also charged with Trespass and Disorderly Conduct stemming from an incident on 5/4/2014, where Scott urinated on a chair in a local business in front of a woman and her child. Scott was arraigned in the Village of Penn Yan Court and remanded to the Yates County Jail. Scott will appear in Village Court on 5/12/2014
