Seneca County Sheriff police beat for 5/8

On 05/05/14 at approximately 12:05AM Deputies stopped a vehicle on SR 96 for an equipment violation. Upon further investigation it was determined that a passenger in the vehicle, Agustin Onofre-Vargas age 50, who is a citizen of Mexico, with a last known address of 10435 43rd Ave. Corona, NY was in the United States Illegally. US Border Patrol was contacted and arrived with Deputies to take custody of the male. Onofre-Vargas will eventually be transported to Batavia for possible deportation.Seneca County Sheriff’s Office reports that Sheriff’s Deputies arrested Tiffany M. Hushour age 28 of 25 Peterman Road Apt #F 1 Seneca Falls . Hushour was arrested following a Seneca County Family Court issued Warrant for fail to appear. Hushour was arraigned before Town of Ovid Justice VanCleef and was released to appear in Family Court on May 12th 2014 at 0930. On the 7th of May 2014 around 12:54pm, the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office arrested Jericho J. Mundell 18 of 2899 County Road 139, Ovid NY for Unlawful Possession of Marijuana. The arrest stems from an incident that occurred at the South Seneca Jr-Sr High School on the 7th of May . Mundell did have in his possession a small amount of Marijuana along with other drug contraband. Mundell was issued an appearance ticket and is to appear in the Town of Ovid Court on the 3rd of June 2014 at 10:00am. Further actions may be taken by the School district.
