Cornell University’s Slope Day celebrations this week will prompt detours on several routes both Wednesday, May 7, and Thursday, May 8.Routes impacted include: 20, 21, 31, 36, 37, 40, 43, 52, 53, 65, 67, 83, 92 and 93. (Note: Rt. 83 will not operate on Slope Day, Thurs., May 8.)West Avenue, between Campus Road and University Avenue, will be closed all day both days (re‑opening 8 a.m., Fri., May 9). The Baker flag Stop will be relocated to Stewart @ University (Alice Cook House) for Routes 36 ,83, 92 and 93. Alternatively, passengers traveling from West Campus to Central Campus can also use Route 10, boarding at University @ Boldt Hall.On Slope Day, Thursday May 8, Campus Road, between College and Stewart avenues, will be closed from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The bus stops at Stewart @ Williams; Stewart @ Buffalo and Stewart @ Seneca will not be served. These stops will be relocated to E. State@ Stewart for the following routes: 20,21,31,37,40,43,52,53,65 and 67. These routes will be using College Ave for the duration of the event.On Fri., May 9, the first trip of Route 83 will be 8:15 a.m. from Baker Flag Pole.
