The Schuyler County Sheriff’s Office has filed arrest paperwork with the Town of Reading Court who has issued an Arrest Warrant for a Bath, NY man on charges of Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle.Thomas C. Duane, age 26 of Williams Street in Bath, is facing charges of Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle (a class E felony) for allegedly fleeing from a traffic stop on State Route 14 in the Town of Reading, stealing a pickup truck from a logging site and driving to Bath, NY where he was apprehended. Duane is currently being held in Steuben County Jail on Parole Violation charges and will be answering this local charge in the Town of Reading Court.
