Douglas M. Bergstresser, 52, of Penn Yan, was arrested by Penn Yan Police on April 11th, 2014, after an investigation of a driving complaint. Bergstresser was found to have driven to the Yates County Probation Department and then drove to his home while his license was suspended pending a DWI charge. Bergstresser was charged with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation 2nd and released on a ticket to appear in Penn Yan Village Court at a later date to answer to the charge.
