WCNY, Central New York’s public broadcasting company, will feature a special “Artifex” show at 7 p.m. Friday, April 4, on WCNY’s Plus channel.For viewing information, visit wcny.org/wheretowatch.Internationally recognized cellist Elinor Frey speaks with WCNY Classic FM host Bill Baker. Frey performed baroque music including pieces by Johann Sebastian Bach, Evaristo Dall’Abaco, Giovanni Battista Vitali, among others, March 27 at WCNY’s “Live at Noon” in studio. Frey earned a doctorate of music from McGill University, a master’s degree in music from The Julliard School and a bachelor’s degree in music from the Mannes College of Music.Artist Richard Birkett, of Otego, is also featured on the show. Birkett has created fantasy clocks for almost 30 years and has showcased his work in more than 80 galleries around the world.
