Vehicle rolls on roof after avoiding deer on Rt. 89

The Seneca County Sheriff reports that on Monday at 6:37 am, deputies responded to a one car personal injury accident on Route 89 in Romulus.Christopher McGuire, age 39, of Route 414 in Lodi was operating his vehicle northbound on Route 89. McGuire states he swerved to miss hitting a deer, and his vehicle left the roadway and rolled onto his roof after striking a driveway culvert on the east ditch.McGuire was treated at the scene by South Seneca ambulance for minor facial injuries and signed off.Ovid and Romulus Fire departments assisted at the scene.
