Waterloo man crashes car into SF building, runs

On Saturday at approximately 2:04 am, the Town of Seneca Falls Police Department arrested William D. Snyder, Jr., age 36 of W. River Street in Waterloo, following a police investigation into a hit-and-run accident. Police responded to a local establishment for an individual that backed out of a parking space and struck another parked vehicle. The driver then struck the establishment building before exiting his vehicle and leaving the scene before officers arrived.Police state the driver then returned to the scene shortly after police left, and drove away. Police located the vehicle and the operator, Snyder, and were able to get the vehicle stopped and take the driver into custody.The driver was discovered to be intoxicated and found to be in possession of marijuana. Snyder is facing multiple charges, including leaving the scene of an accident, DWI, refusing to submit to a breath test, failing to comply with lawful orders of police, and unlawful possession of marijuana.Snyder was arraigned in the Town of Seneca Falls Court in front of the Honorable Judge Laquidari and committed to SCCF on $500 Cash/$1000 Bond and has to reappear in Town Court on April 3rd, 2014 at 6:00pm.
