Penn Yan teens assault man at skate park

On Tuesday, two Penn Yan teens, ages 15 and 16, were arrested and charged with 3rd degree assault after they allegedly approached a man at the skate park in the Village of Penn Yan and began to punch and head butt him. The victim suffered cuts and bruises to the face and neck.One of the teens was issued a juvenile appearance ticket while the other was arraigned and remanded to the Yates County Jail in lieu of $500 cash or $1,000 bond.
