Ovid man charged with assault in Seneca Falls

On Saturday at approximately 4:00 am , Town of Seneca Falls Police arrested Larry C. Proia IV, age 24, of Ovid for Assault in the third degree, a Class A misdemeanor.Proia is accused of being involved in a physical altercation with another male on Cowing St in the Town of Seneca Falls. Proia struck male several times in the face causing lacerations, swelling and bruising. Male victim refused treatment.Proia was arraigned in Town of Seneca Falls Court by Judge Laquidari, and ROR’d to reappear on April 3rd, 2014 at 6:00 pm.
