Convicted bail jumper arrested in Penn Yan

Two individuals were arrested on Tuesday on bench warrants out of Penn Yan Village Court.Dana Hansen, of Wheeler Avenue in Hammondsport was arrested for not paying a court mandated state surcharge. He had been convicted of bail jumping and criminal possession of a controlled substance. He was arraigned and taken to jail where he paid the surcharge.Also arrested was Jerome Scott of Penn Yan for failure to appear on a harassment charge. He was released at arraignment.
