This will be a wild week in the weather.Today and tomorrow we will experience a warming trend. It will be cloudy at times, especially today, but much of the region will stay dry on both days. High temperatures will be in the low and mid 40s today, but should get near or above 50º on Tuesday. It will feel very much like Spring. And those that live by the theory of ‘why do I need a meteorologist when I can look out my window?’ won’t have a clue.A storm system will move from the Ohio Valley to New England on Wednesday as cold air returns to the region. Temperatures should drop from the low 30s early Wednesday to the teens by sunset. Snow will develop and may come down heavy at times. Some uncertainties remain, but some areas could see upwards of a foot of snow. I will have a SnowMap tonight. This blast of winter will continue on Thursday, with high temperatures some 40º colder than Tuesday in the low teens. Factor in the wind, and it will feel like below 0º for most of the day. Any snow that falls Wednesday night will be light and fluffy, leading to poor visibilities and areas of drifting snow for Thursday.I will have more details on this storm tonight, so make sure to check back for updates. In the mean time, enjoy our brief taste of spring!– Drew Montreuil, FL1 Staff Meteorologist
