In a matter of 3 hours time at Canandaigua Academy on Tuesday night, two Finger Lakes East girls basketball teams, both Sectional Champions, saw their bid for a run into the state tournament, and their seasons, come to an end.In the first game of the state qualifier double-header in Canandaigua, Pittsford Sutherland defeated Wayne 55-46 in the Class A game. The Wayne Eagles season ends with an 11-9 mark and the Section V Class A2 title.Then, in Class B, Bishop Kearney defeated Waterloo 64-51. Waterloo’s 2013-14 campaign ends with a 17-5 record and a Class B1 Sectional Championship.
