On Saturday at approximately 5:00 a.m. the Seneca Falls Police Department Christopher L. Planty, age 25, of West Miller Street in Newark, following a police investigation into 2 separate reports of larcenies that occurred within a few hours of each other at a Town of Seneca Falls business.Planty is accused of entering the business in the early morning hours on March 1st and stealing a case of beer. Employees contacted the police after Planty returned a few hours and walked out of the business a second time with several items in his possession that he did not pay for.He was located in the parking lot by police and charged with 2 counts of petit larceny and one count of possession of stolen property in the 5th degree.He was arraigned in Seneca Falls Town Court and committed to SCCF on $500 Cash/$1000 Bond. He is to reappear in town court on 03/06/14 at 6:00 p.m. to answer the charges.
