The Geneva Panthers varsity basketball squad used 19 points from senior point guard Steven Dolgos to blow-out the Batavia Blue Devils, 63-30 on Sunday evening at the Blue Cross Arena in Rochester and capture their first Sectional Championship since 1999.Akia Jackson, Ray Simms Jr., and Trevor DiDuro added 12 points apiece and a great defensive effort to hold Batavia to just 30 point on 32% shooting.Brian Miller gets his first Sectional title since taking over the program three seasons ago.
