Heroin found at Penn Yan overdose call

On Friday, Penn Yan Village Police arrested Thomas J. Bayer Jr., age 24 of Penn Yan, for criminal possession of a controlled substance in the 7th degree.While police were assisting the Penn Yan Volunteer Ambulance Corps. on an overdose on February 8th, Bayer was found to be in possession of several micro-baggies of heroin.He was given an appearance ticket to appear in Village Court at a later time.
