Sheriff David Gould reports the Cayuga County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an armed robbery which occurred on January 24th at 9:00 pm at the Pit Stop Convenience Store located on Rt. 104 in North Victory. Detectives are attempting to identify a male, dressed in full camouflage, with a blue and white cloth bag over his head, armed with a camouflage long gun, who entered the store and demanded money from the cashier. The perpetrator got away with an undisclosed amount of cash. The perpetrator was operating what is believed to be a light colored, possibly gray, older model 2 door Cadillac or similar style vehicle.
