Sheriff David Gould reports the Cayuga County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a burglary to a barn located on W. Lake Road in the Town of Fleming. The burglary is believed to have occurred sometime Tuesday afternoon into early evening. The barn is located near the pull off area just north of Wyckoff Road.Vehicle tracks and footprints from at least two perpetrators indicate the perpetrators parked at the pull off and walked to the barn.Stolen were power tools, liquor and some sporting goods.Detectives are asking for anyone who saw a vehicle or persons at this pull off yesterday afternoon or overnight to contact them.Anyone with information should contact Detective Brian Schenck at (315) 253-3545.
