A Clyde man was arrested after a vehicle he stole in Yates County was found on Wednesday in Seneca Falls.Penn Yan police arrested Peter J. Vega, age 32 of Geneva Street in Clyde and charged him with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.He was arrested on a warrant issued by Seneca Falls Police after Penn Yan Police received a report that Vega had stolen a 2001 Mercury from the Village of Penn Yan on January 11th.The investigation revealed that Vega had been cleaning the car for a local business when he took it.The vehicle was located in Seneca Falls and impounded. Vega was apprehended when he called police to report the car had been stolen and went to retrieve the vehicle from impound.He was turned over to Penn Yan police where he was arraigned and sent to the Yates County Jail in lieu of $1,000 bail.
