On Friday afternoon at 4:19 pm, Penn Yan Police charged William “Bill” Taylor, age 44 of Clifton Springs with two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the 7th degree.Police made the arrest after Taylor contacted an agent of the police department and agreed to purchase suboxone from them. Taylor met with the individual in Penn Yan and purchased suboxone.Penn Yan Police then stopped Taylor and recovered the suboxone from him and also located 21 pills of oxycodone.Taylor was arraigned in Benton Town Court and released.
