A Rochester real estate developer is proposing a Las Vegas-style casino in the Finger Lakes region, just a couple of miles outside of a gambling exclusivity zone set aside for the three Western New York casinos operated by the Seneca Nation of Indians.The Wilmot Casino and Resort, named after Rochester commercial real estate executive Thomas Wilmot, calls for a $350 million facility that the developer believes will draw 9,000 bettors a day.It would be located in the town of Tyre in Seneca County just off the Thruway.For more click here for the article in today’s Buffalo News.
