In an effort to honor the brave men and women of our armed forces who are currently serving at home and abroad, Senator Mike Nozzolio will be recognizing “Hometown Heroes” on his website and facebook page. Individuals will be able to submit a photo of a local service member so that they can be recognized by our community.“It is more important than ever that we recognize the contributions of our local soldiers and there is no better time than the holiday season to honor those serving in our military,” said Senator Mike Nozzolio.“Our brave soldiers have left their family and friends and the comfort of their homes in order to serve a cause greater than themselves. Throughout the holiday season, I will be posting the photographs of area servicemen and women from across my Senate District to remind us of sacrifices they are making to serve our Nation at home and across the world.”To submit a photo, visit Senator Nozzolio’s facebook page at www.facebook.com/SenatorNozzolio. Please make sure to ask for permission from the individual before sharing their photo.“There is no greater obligation than to honor and thank our troops for their service to our Nation. This holiday season, please join me in honoring our military personnel by visiting my “Hometown Heroes” page and sharing your photos of local servicemen and women,” said Senator Mike Nozzolio.
