The Newark Reds had a late start to their season but finally got it underway on Friday night in Glens Falls with a 83-52 win over Plattsburgh who plays out of Section 7.Two Reds struck four times from long range as Zeron Bratcher and Tyler Collins both knocked down four three-pointers. Bratcher would finish with 18 points to lead all scorers while Collins finished with 14 points.Newark also had solid efforts from Micah Wright and Shamar Logins with 11 points apiece while Jaymee Rosser added 10.The Reds are in action again on Saturday in the Skidmore Tournament championship game.
