On Friday morning, just after midnight, Penn Yan police arrested Joseph R. Herrick, age 31 of Penn Yan, for disorderly conduct after an incident on Main Street in the Village.Herrick was observed yelling and screaming at others by a Yates County Sheriff’s Deputy who assisted at the scene.Police arrived and Herrick was subsequently arrested for disorderly conduct after he refused to cease his actions after having been warned to do so by police.Herrick was transported to the Penn Yan Police Department where he was issued an appearance ticket to answer the charge in Penn Yan Village Court at a later date.
