On Tuesday at 8:18 am, the Town of Seneca Falls Police arrested Carl E. Phillips, age 27 of 34 Lake Avenue in Auburn, for DWAI-Drugs. It was reported that Phillips was involved in a hit and run property damage motor vehicle accident that occurred in the Town of Aurelius, Cayuga County, earlier in the morning.The Seneca County 911 Center placed a be on the look out for Phillips’s vehicle to all Seneca County Law Enforcement Agencies.A Seneca Falls Police Officer observed Phillips on Auburn Road in the Town of Seneca Falls where a traffic stop was conducted. Phillips was charged with DWAI-Drugs, Aggravated Unlicensed Operation in the Third Degree and Driving while his driving privileges were suspended.Phillips was processed and arraigned in the Town of Seneca Falls Town Court. Phillips was committed to the Seneca County Correctional Facility on $2,500 cash or $5,000 bond ins. Phillips is to re-appear in the Town of Seneca Falls Town Court on January 8.
