Jacob Slobe got Red Creek off to a 1-0 start to the season with a 19 point, 9 rebound effort for the Rams on Monday night. Combined with Griffen Klein’s 23 points and Ethan Durocher’s 15, it was enough for a 65-50 victory over Cato-Meridian out of Section 3.Red Creek is expected to contend in the upper half of the Wayne County league this season and the opening night win is an indication the program is heading in the right direction.
