Seneca Falls Police arrested Michael J. Bertrand, age 56 of Upton Street in Syracuse on Friday at about 1:30 pm after a short larceny investigation.Bertrand was observed stealing three bottles of liquor valued at $125.00 from Pedulla’s Liquor Store on Bridge Street by the owner who called 911 and provided his description as well as the vehicle description.Bertrand was stopped on Fall Street and found to have the stolen property with him.Bertrand was charged with Petit Larceny and committed to the Seneca County Correctional Facility by Judge Barto of the Waterloo Village Court.He is to appear in Seneca Falls Town Court on December 11th at 9 am.Bertrand is also the person of interest in additional larcenies from liquor stores in the surrounding counties and those agencies will be following up with Bertrand.
