Seneca Falls Police Beat for 11/21

On 11/19/2013 at approximately 11:30pm, Seneca Falls Town Police arrested Kurt W. Pollard of 5 Williams Street, Seneca Falls, for Aggravated Harassment 2nd. It is alleged that Pollard made threats to another Town Resident. During the investigation, it was determined that Pollard was wanted for Absconding Probation Supervision out of Dutchess County, NY. Pollard was arraigned at the Fayette Town Court and was committed to Seneca County Correctional Facility on $15,000/$30,000 secured bond. Pollard will answer the charges on 11/27/13 in the Town of Seneca Falls Court at 9:00am.On November 15th, 2013 at about 4:00 pm the Seneca Falls Police Department arrested Nicholas J Blevins, age 30, of 3016 East Bayard Street Ext, Seneca Falls for failure to pay a fine. This arrest stems from a bench warrant that was issued from the Town of Seneca Falls Court. Blevins was arraigned in the Town of Seneca Falls Court in front of Judge Mahoney and was released on his own recognizance.On November 14th, 2013 at approx 12:00 pm, SFPD arrested Daniel R Babbitt Jr., age 43, of 2 Fall St Apt 8, Seneca Falls, on two Bench Warrants for Failure to Appear in Town of Seneca Falls Court. Babbitt was originally charged with two counts of Burglary 3rd and two counts of Petit Larceny which occurred at a Town of Seneca Falls business. Babbitt was arraigned in Town of Seneca Falls Court and committed to the Seneca Co Correctional Facility in lieu of $2,000 cash bail/$4,000 ins bond. Babbit was to reappear in Town of Seneca Falls Court on 11-19-13 at 1100hrs.
