FingerLakes1.com is excited to announce our 2013-14 Section V Wayne-Finger Lakes basketball live webcast schedule. All webcasts include a multi-camera television-style presentation with a full announcing crew comprised of Brendan Harrington and legendary play-by-play men David Barnick and Harold Weber. Color commentary will be provided by Matt Verkey and Kevin Korzeniewski, both members of the 1992 NYS Champion Mynderse Academy team. The schedule is highlighted by a great opening night battle as Mynderse visits Clyde-Savannah on Saturday, November 30th for a rematch of last season’s Class C State Qualifier which Mynderse won in Waterloo. A three-man booth of Harrington, Verkey and Korzeniewski will highlight the opening night broadcast. A big early season match-up featuring two of the top contenders in the Finger Lakes East will be featured on Tuesday, December 10th when the Geneva Panthers invade Newark HS to face the Newark Reds. Over Christmas break, Mynderse is hosting a pair of games on consecutive nights against a pair of Wayne County rivals. FL1 Sports will be at Arthur L. Baker Gymnasium in Seneca Falls on December 27th when Clyde-Savannah visits and again on December 28th when the Lyons Lions come to Seneca Falls. Another big FL East showdown in Newark on Friday, January 31st is on the schedule as the Wayne Eagles travel to face the Newark Reds. On January 22nd, Lyons visits Clyde-Savannah to renew their cross-town rivalry in a game that has decided the Wayne County League title in recent seasons.
