On Tuesday of this week, Seneca Falls police investigated an accident on Clinton Street that caused a power outage through parts of the former Village.Witnesses reported that a white tractor trailer pulled down wires and in turn broke a utility pole in half. The driver got out of his vehicle and removed the wires that were on his truck and he left the scene. Officers located the truck a short time later at a local business on Fall Street.The driver was issued a ticket for leaving the scene of a property damage accident. Seneca Falls Fire Department assisted in the incident.Clinton Street was shut down for several hours while NYSEG, Time Warner and Verizon worked on the damage. The power to the surrounding houses and some downtown businesses was out for around a half hour.The driver is scheduled to appear in the Town of Seneca Falls court on December 19th to answer to his tic
