Geneva man held w/out bail after cocaine sale arrest

On Thursday afternoon at 3:00 pm, Geneva Police Department Drug Enforcement Unit along with marked patrols conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle on Exchange Street, Geneva. The traffic stop culminated a two month investigation into the sale of powdered cocaine by the defendant at 498 Exchange Street Apt 3, City of Geneva. A search warrant of the residence was commenced at the time of the traffic stop. An amount of Cocaine and US Currency were seized as part of this investigation.This subject is currently out on bail for the same charges stemming from an October 2012 arrest & Search Warrant at 494 Exchange Street, Geneva, that is scheduled for trial in Ontario County Court 11/18/2013.Arrested and charged with Criminal Sale of Controlled Substance Third Degree, B Felony was Orlando Jose Capo- Alicea, 6.29.1984, 498 Exchange Street # 3, Geneva, no bail and transferred to Ontario County Jail.Geneva Chief Jeffrey E. Trickler said, “Here we have an individual who was scheduled for a trial next week for the same charges as what he was arrested for yesterday. Individuals such as this are self serving and a drain on our community. The Geneva Police Department will use every available means tocontinue taking drug dealers off our streets. “
