The Wayne Eagles will play in their first ever Sectional Football final next weekend after defeating the top seed Livonia, 25-14 on Saturday afternoon.Wayne gained the advantage by picking off four passes on the afternoon and riding running back Justin Morrison for 22 carries and 151 yards on the ground. Morrison added 55 yards receiving and had 2 touchdowns.Wayne quarterback Nathan Currier was 7 for 13 passing for 131 yards and two touchdowns. Mike Hollenbeck caught one of the touchdown passes while Kyle Gallo rushed for one score to round out the Eagles’ scoring.Wayne improved to 6-3 on the season and will face Geneva for the Section V Class B championship next weekend.
