The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office reports that on 10/26/13 at 1:32 am Deputies arrested Kenneth Jerkins, 42, of Timber Lake Terrace in Ovid for one count each of harassment 2nd degree, criminal mischief 4th degree, criminal obstruction of breathing or airway, endangering the welfare of a child and criminal contempt 1st degree.Jerkins was arrested after a reported domestic incident in the Town of Romulus in which children were present. It is alleged that Jerkins grabbed a Town of Romulus resident by the neck restricting the airway, as well as pushing the resident. In the process Jerkins ripped the resident’s shirt.At the time of the incident there was a class A order of protection in place against Jerkins. Jerkins was arraigned in the Town of Lodi Court in front of Justice Van Cleef on the charges. Jerkins was remanded to the Seneca County Correctional Facility in lieu of $7500 cash bail or $15,0 00 secured bond. Jerkins in to re appear on 10/30/13 at 10:00 am to answer the charges.
