On Monday, Seneca County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested 33 year old Joseph C. Smith, of Reed Road in Waterloo, for Criminal Contempt 2nd, a class A misdemeanor.It is alleged that Smith was in violation of a class A court order of protection when he engaged in a domestic dispute with the protected party of the order.Smith was arraigned in the town of Waterloo Court where he was remanded to the Seneca County Correctional Facility in lieu of $500 cash $1,000 bond. Smith is to re-appear in the Town of Waterloo court on the 14th of November at 5pm.Sheriff’s Deputies were assisted on scene by the Waterloo Village Police and the New York State Park Police.
