On Monday at around 1:00 pm, Town of Seneca Falls Police were notified by the New York State Police out of Ontario County that they are investigating a larceny incident in the Town of Geneva. New York State Police reported that they were looking for two male subjects that are alleged to have stolen property from Wal-Mart in Geneva. It was reported to Town of Seneca Falls Police that the two males were currently at the Seneca Falls Wal-Mart.Upon arrival at the Seneca Falls Wal-Mart, one of the male subjects was already stopped in the parking by New York State Police. The other male subject was then seen leaving the parking lot in a separate vehicle. The suspect was stopped on North Road near State Route 414 North.After Police investigated the incident it was discovered that the two male subjects had stolen property from the Canandaigua, Geneva and Seneca Falls Wal-Mart stores. It was also discovered that the two male subjects stole property from Lowes in the Town of Waterloo.The following two male subjects were arrested by Town of Seneca Falls Police and charged with the following charges:Todd R. Heers, age 37, of 1054 Stafford Road Palmyra. Heers was charged with Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle, Aggravated Unlicensed Operation in the 2nd degree, Petit Larceny, Felony Possession of Stolen Property in the 4th degree and Conspiracy in the 6th degree. Heers was arraigned in the Town of Fayette Court in front of Judge Sapio where he was committed to the SCCF on no bail. Heers is to reappear in the Town of Fayette Court on 10/25/13 at 1:30pm for a felony hearing. Kirtis L. Rothfuss, age 37, of 1882 Division Street Palmyra. Rothfuss was charged with Petit Larceny, Felony Possession of Stolen Property in the 4th degree and Conspiracy in the 6th degree. Rothfuss was arraigned in the Town of Fayette Court in front of Judge Sapio where he was committed to the SCCF on $5000.00 cash bail or $10,000.00 bond. Rothfuss is to reappear in the Town of Fayette Court on 10/25/13 at 1:30pm for a felony hearing. The Town of Seneca Falls Police were assisted by the New York State Police.
