The Waterloo Police Department reports that on Sunday at about 2:06 am, officers arrested Carrie A. Johnson, age 36 of Inslee Street in Waterloo. Johnson was arrested for the following charges: Driving While intoxicated, Driving with .08 BAC or higher, Aggravated DWI .18 or higher,move from lane unsafely and leaving the scene of a property damage accident.The charges stem from a report that a vehicle struck a sign then left the scene. Johnson’s vehicle was later located with damage consistent with the accident, and Johnson was found to be intoxicated.Johnson was issued tickets and is to appear in the Village of Waterloo Court on 11-6-13 at 9:00 am.
