The Canandaigua varsity football team improved to 4-1 on the season with a convincing 30-7 victory over Greece Arcadia (0-5) on Saturday in Canandaigua.Canandaigua quarterback Mitchell Schaeffer was 8 for 14 passing for 156 yards and three touchdowns. Patrick Coyne caught the longest of the three scoring throws, a 73 yard score.. Brian Feldman caught another TD pass for Schaeffer and also kicked a 34 yard field goal.Jaymin Ranson led the Braves’ rushing attack with 99 yards on 20 carries.Defensively, Eli Bombard contributed 9 tackles while Timmy Ryan had 7 tackles.Next week, Canandaigua hits the road to face Brighton on Friday night at 7:00 pm.
