On Thursday morning, shortly after 9:00 am, members of the Geneva Police Department Drug Enforcement Unit took a third suspect into custody for the Criminal Sale of Heroin from 44 John Street in the city. This is directly related to the Narcotics Search Warrant @ 44 John Street, Geneva on Tuesday. Additional charges are pending.On October 1st, two suspects were taken into custody at that address. An amount of heroin, currency and packaging materials were seized as a result of this several month long investigation.Thursday, police arrested Jesus M. Garcia, age 26 of 49 William Street in Geneva, and charged him with criminal sale of a controlled substance in the third degree, a Class B Felony. Garcia was arraigned and held on $15,000 cash bail or $30,000 bond.
