Canandaigua jumped out to a 35-6 halftime lead on Saturday afternoon before closing out a win over Batavia, 49-12. The win improves the Braves to 3-1 on the campaign.Jaymin Ransom returned an interception for a pick-six to go along with his 8 carries for 75 yards and a touchdown. He caught a thirs touchdown pass from Canandaigua quarterback Mitchell Schaeffer who threw for three TD’s on the day.Also for the Braves, Coron Broomfield has 107 yards on the ground and a 31 yard touchdown scamper while Nick Johnson returned a kick-off 82 yards for a score.Next week, Canandaigua hosts Greece-Arcadia at 3:00 pm. Greece-Arcadia is at 0-4 on the season after losing to Greece-Olympia, 24-17 this weekend.
