Officer injured after pusuit of Geneva drug dealer

On Thursday, members of the Geneva Police Department Drug Enforcement Unit concluded another investigation into the sale and trafficking of Heroin/Cocaine in the City of Geneva.Torres-SantanaThe investigation resulted in the foot pursuit and arrest of one man selling heroin/cocaine in various locations in the City of Geneva. US Currency, Cocaine & Heroin were seized.Angel Luis Torres-Santana, age 47 of Genesee Street in Geneva, was arrested and charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance Third Degree, B Felony. Additional Charges Pending.Torres-Santana was arraigned and set to Ontario County Jail on bail to re-appear on Monday.As a result of the foot pursuit, one officer of the Drug Enforcement Unit received lacerations to his arm and was treated and released from Geneva General Hospital.
