On Friday at 6:49 pm, Village of Penn Yan police arrested Troy P. Meland, age 19 of Church Street in Waterloo, and Patrick J. Meland, age 19 of Sheppard Street in Penn Yan on outstanding warrants.Penn Yan police were given information that both wanted individuals were en route to Penn Yan from Wayne County. Officers later located the vehicle they were operating on Main Street.Patrick Meland was wanted out of Penn Yan Village Court for failure to appear and was arraigned in front of Judge Hibbard where bail was set at $2,500/$5,000.Troy Meland was wanted by Wayne County Sheriffs and was also charged with unlawful possession of marijuana after a pipe that contained marijuana residue was located in the vehicle he was operating. He was given an appearance ticket for that charge to appear in Village Court, then turned over to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Department.
