The Newark Reds varsity football team rode 386 yards of total offense to a 40-0 win over Waterloo on Friday night at Tom Coughlin Field.Newark quarterback Phil Tack threw for 112 yards and two touchdowns and added 49 yards and two more scores on the ground. Ronel Rooks rushed for 109 yards on 16 carries and Micah Wright got it done all over the field with a receiving touchdown, a 55 yard interception return for a touchdown, 40 yards rushing and 4 extra-points.The Reds move to 2-0 with the Wayne Eagles set to come to town next Friday night. Waterloo, 0-2, will look for their first win when Penn Yan visits in week 3.
