The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office reports that on Tuesday at approximately 2:50 pm, deputies responded to a report of a motorcycle accident on State Route 96A in Willard. The operator of the motorcycle, 26 year old Terry Mills of Ovid Street in Seneca Falls, was traveling westbound on State Route 96A when he struck a wooden pallet that had fallen in the roadway.Mills was able to maintain control of the motorcycle but the passenger on the motorcycle, 22 year old Melinda S. Heusler of East River Street in Waterloo, was subsequently thrown off of the back and onto the pavement.Heusler was treated on scene by South Seneca Ambulance for severe roadrash and transported to Geneva General Hospital. Mills was uninjured during the incident.
