A 43 year old Maryland man is in custody and charged with the sexual abuse of two girls under the age of nine in Waterloo during this spring and summer. Police report that Wilson engaged in “numerous” acts involving sexual contact and sexual activity. On Monday, at 11:49 am, Seneca County Sheriff’s Office Investigators arrested John W Wilson, age 43, of Waldorf, Maryland, on several child sexual abuse charges. Wilson was charged with two counts of criminal sexual act in the first degree, two counts of sexual abuse in the first degree and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child. It is alleged that Wilson engaged in numerous acts involving sexual contact and sexual activity with two females under the age of 9, in a Town of Waterloo residence. The arrest stems from a three week investigation conducted by Sheriff’s investigators and members of the Seneca County Child Protection Division. The crimes are alleged to have occurred during the spring and summer of 2013. Wilson was arraigned in the Town of Waterloo Court and committed to the Seneca County Correctional Facility on $25,000 cash, $50,000 bond. Full stay away Orders of Protection were issued by the court. Investigators report that the investigation is continuing.
