Seneca Falls Police Beat for 9/3

On August 30th, 2013 at 11:00 am the Seneca Falls Police Department arrested Joseph Riordan, age 48, of 108 Main Street, Phelps for issuing a bad check to Bill Cram’s in the Town of Seneca Falls. Riordan was arraigned in the Town of Tyre Court where he was committed to the Seneca County Correctional Facility in lieu of $200.00 cash bail. Riordan is scheduled to reappear the Town of Seneca Falls Court on September 11th, 2013 at 08:30am. On August 31st, 2013 at 10:20pm Seneca Falls Police arrested Larry L. Sawatzky, age 50, of 363 Hines Road, Newfield New York 14867 for Aggravated Unlicensed Operation 3rd, Unlicensed Operator, and No Tail Lamp. This arrest resulted from a traffic stop after Sawatzky was allegedly observed operating a vehicle with a tail lamp not working. Sawatzky was released on uniform traffic tickets and is to appear in Seneca Falls Town Court on September 26th, 2013 at 10:00am to answer his charges.On August 27th, 2013, the Town of Seneca Falls Police arrested Justin R Brewer, age 30, of 4117 Ridgefield Avenue, Holiday, FL for Aggravated Unlicensed Operation in the 3rd Degree. The arrest stems from a traffic stop, where Brewer was observed passing through a red light in the Town of Seneca Falls. Brewer was issued an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in the Town of Seneca Falls Court on September 5th, 2013 at 10:00am.On August 22th, 2013, the Town of Seneca Falls Police arrested Jason M Carnicelli, age 34, of 178 Fall Street, Seneca Falls, NY for Aggravated Unlicensed Operation in the 3rd Degree. The arrest stems from a traffic stop, where Carnicelli was observed passing through a red light and texting on his cell phone in the Town of Seneca Falls. Carnicelli was issued an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in the Town of Seneca Falls Court on September 5th, 2013 at 10:00am.On August 26th, 2013 the Town of Seneca Falls Police arrested Barbara A Singleton, age 44, of 141 High Street, Geneva, NY for Harassment in the second degree. The arrest stems from a verbal disagreement between Singleton and a friend where singleton threw a cup of coffee in the friends face, this occurred in the Town of Seneca Falls. Singleton was released on an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in the Town of Seneca Falls Court on September 5th, 2013 at 10:00am.
