Seneca County Sheriff’s Investigators arrested was Melissa A. Schoonmaker, age 47 of Catherine St. in Lyons, and charged her with Grand Larceny 3rd, a class D felony. It is alleged that Schoonmaker took over $22,000 from a Town of Tyre resident over the course of two and a half years.Schoonmaker was arrested in the Town of Lyons and arraigned in the Town of Tyre court where she was released to re-appear on Sept. 18th 2013 at 6:00 pm.
