Seneca County Sheriff’s Office Investigators are investigating a burglary which occurred on Ann Street in the Village of Ovid. The residential burglary occurred on July 21st 2013 and resulted in a large loss for the victims involved.The Sheriff’s Office is requesting assistance from the public in this matter and anyone with any information regarding the Ann Street incident is requested to contact Investigator Felice at (315)220-3445 . There is a cash reward of $2,000.00 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspects involved in this case.The Sheriff’s Office would also like to recommend to all residents of Seneca County that it is imperative to keep your residences, vehicles and outbuildings secured and locked to assist in preventing future thefts and burglaries. The time of day to most focus on when thinking about securing your property is insignificant due to the fact that thefts and burglaries are occurring at all hours of the day and night. It is good practice to keep property locked and secure at all hours even when you are home.
